As a man who prefers hairless assholes myself, I personally appreciate a very clean and hair-free butthole before I attempt to lick it. It's not so much the actual hair as I worry that little pieces of poop can be trapped into it and I hate the taste of poop. Tastes like shit.

Another option is to do anal bleaching, which will dye the hair a lighter shade as well as keep your butt hole nice and white and young looking. I can't do this option since I have black hair and my butthole is quite dark since I'm Asian, so I usually just wait for it to be long enough and i can just manually pluck them when I'm bored.
