Anyways, I believe that the avatar is probably random while collecting something from the Rubbish Dump.

Since the news mentions "steps", I would assume it's a combination of a certain score on 'mop and bop' game + discarding items. Perhaps even more steps.

But who is donating these items? Regular contributors to the mound of trash include Somebody Smelly, Somebody Mysterious, a Passing Faerie, a Passing Meerca, farmers and even the fabled Dung Faerie! You will also see your own username underneath an object from time to time. Do not panic, you haven't had any items stolen from your inventory, it's just a little trick the dump likes to play on people who lurk trying to nab its goodies.

While you are browsing the dump, you may run across someone donating something. These are random and aren't real people. Some common donors are: King Skarl, Somebody Mysterious, Somebody Smelly, The Dung Faerie, yourself (?!?), another user that is browsing the dump, the Meridell Castle Cleaners, a farmer, a stable hand, a passing faerie, and a passing Meerca.

(So to summarize, donating/discarding items will not actually make it go to the Rubbish Dump, although if you refresh at the dump there's a possibility that your name will appear as a donor)

Yeah I have yet to see anyone see their name AND collect it. And it could be something where need a specific avatar applied.

What if we only had multiples of the two items in our inventory. Then in order to receive the avatar we have to refresh a billion times in hopes that 'we' donate the berry and then the can.

I like how TNT plans out random things like Bonju, Wishing Well and the newest avatar. I bet they think of them during the time the AC has crazy, sleepless nights searching for it.

oh its all done on purpose, notice how it comes out fairly quickly after the wishing well one was solved. TNT needs something to keep them entertained

The possibilities on this one seem pretty limited to me, unlike Bonju and the Wishing Well, so I'm not too worried, but it does seem like TNT only releases killer avatars and then the occasional event ones.

I noticed that this one is off one pixel, just as the wishing well avatar is. Fail TNT.

You don't send items to the rubbish dump, if you're there lurking it will attach your username randomly to a generated item. So you can't donate/discard and have anything end up there.

First person to get the avatar. She said she got it on the Quick Stock page when she was preparing to move 47 junk items into her SDB. Her steps have been replicated, but no one has received the avatar using her method.
