is there anyway to withdraw from battle? and to heal your pet? i don't understand this new battledome

I joined the skirmish for the first time, now I'm thankful I chose Sway. Does which opponent we battle matter, in terms of contributing to the faction? My 'BD' pet is very wimpy >.< 

 

Zandra, to withdraw from battle go to the 'challenges' tab on the top of the screen and click withdraw. You can heal your pet using potions outside the dome, I just stocked upon Essence of Everlasting Apple.

No free healing kinda sucks, but what I do is if my neopets HP is in the red zone, I make them fight the weaker opponents, and make them heal with Magical Healing Potion/Lesser Healing Scroll.

I just use my Sword of Lameness to heal up lol

 

But what makes me mad is that I was gone for 5 days and I can't join a faction mid-skirmish! It's not like you can tell who's winning, where's the harm in joining late? I was planning on doing 1,000 battles for the Thieves. I hope the Awakened wins this.

When I see people like you, I feel I should battle a lot too so I can get the last avatar (Sway) and can finally ditch this "daily". It must be cool if you can skew the results so much by battling since no one really cares but meh :| Can't you just give people like me the damn avatar? D:

there is an option to withdraw in the challenges tab

 

but when you withdraw it is a lose

it will be clocked in the stats tab

but if you look at the battleground page there will not be a lose clocked for withdrawing a battle with any of the opponents

I'm still mad that a small group of people on the Brutes kept me from getting the Thieves avatar so I guess it's partly from that. But at the same time, I think the people who won the original war when there are 6 factions in should keep that extra boost (yeah I'm extremely biased). And also because I just like having rare avatars lol but trust me I don't think the bandwagoners are gonna let themselves lose a 2nd time in a row.

It runs infinitely until you close the tab, so just be sure to not keep it on for hours on end.

Bit off topic, but now that the fighting has ended - does anyone have the challenger ID # for the Giant Mutant Walein?

If you are using Neoquest's autobattler, you can just type "list" when it asks for the challenger ID to see a list of challengers...

Lol, I've always wondered why people kept asking for/posting challenger IDs when it is so much easier to just type "list" in the program. I guess most people never bothered to read Neoquest's instructions...

I got Cheaper By the Dozen. It's basically a free 35k np. Not that that is a large sum, but it is still better than all the other boons.

The Refreshed Faerie Quest boon was my go-to back when I still had some Faerie Quest Fortune Cookies lying around.

my balance is enough to get more than 5k for a 3%

I was considering that boon as well before I realised it would be quite useless without FQFCs.

Really happy that Sway won. I used the stockmarket boon since I frequent stockmarket.
