Officially at E3, we discovered that the newest installment of the Pokemon Gaming Franchise, Pokemon X and Y, will be released

 

OCTOBER 12, 2013

 

To get us excited, post any videos/scans/rumours/jokes that you found about the game!

I'm probably getting a 3DS for this.

I thought that they would elaborate more on pokemon black/white 2?

Because...well, i didn't understand the underground water cave...thing (where you find the ancient crown & all that), plus the newest legendary that had ties with the legendaries from black & white (too lazy to look up the names...but I'm sure you know who I'm talking about).

 

I just thought they would expand more. Kind of give the newest legendary some sort of backstory other than basically being used as a vessel to make the previous legendaries more powerful .__.;

 

Though, the one on the packaging from pokemon x looks rather interesting. I like the design.

 

 

Furthermore....I want them to do something with Arcerus (sp?) :| 

They should make him available to everyone...-grumble-

I'm getting X. My aunts getting me a new 3DS for my birthday, and so I'll soon be able to play all the games I want again. Including Animal Crossing New Leaf, and Kid Icarus Uprising (which I opened but never played).

Yea, I'm not keen on the 3D craze >>;

I'm old school & like my DS in plain ole' 2D. (that or I hate paying money for a new system, meh). Though I think you can turn off the 3D, right?

Yes, you can turn it off, and adjust it (so you can have "a little bit of" 3D, full 3D, none, etc). I like to play games with it on, though. It's not 3D like in movies, but the background drops...back. It looks pretty cool, in my opinion.

I think i tried one once at a target or something of that nature...but i couldn't figure it out, so I never ended up getting one XD

eh, i wish they were playable on the regular DS as well, since you can turn the 3D off anyway. though i'm guessing the 3DS at lease plays DS games? that one generation back thing isn't a bad deal. one good reason i always adored my PS2 XD

Yep, it plays DS games. The 3D adjuster is a slider on the side of the 3DS.

Why? The precedent for new eeveelutions has been the introduction of two at once. Umbreon counters Espeon, Glaceon counters Leafeon. All signs point towards a dragon eeveelution to come along with Sylveon

They also never made such a big deal regarding the release of a single eevee evolution.
I just don't see it happening.

But yeah I guess they didn't do this sort of GET HYPE shit for adding dark/steel~ But there's nothing stopping them from sneaking in another Eeveelution! And it'd be boring for them to announce it so soon anyways ^^

Why do you say psychic? In terms of balance, bug, steel and poison are far more in need of another favorable offensive matchup.

Pretty sure some of the leaks about fairy type said it would be weak to poison.

I could be wrong though.

 

Edit: After going back and looking through the leaked stuff before fairy was confirmed, it is supposed to be weak to poison and steel.
