I got curse of fatigue 8-10 times today, of which about 7-9 of them are within a few seconds-mins (guess I was really lucky or it was supposed to be this way). Currently finished lvl 11 and waiting for lvl 12 which is 5 hours away, sigh.
Though I am unsure if going through the most levels in the shortest time will actually matter for this event, I thought here are a few tips to clearing levels faster.
1) As of right now, everyone should know that not all curses have bad effects. The beneficial ones are Curse of Apathy (blocks the next curse), Curse of Cleansing (clears one of the curse, which Is great against Curse of Fatigue), Curse of Foresight (sees what is inside the next room you open) and Curse of Kleptomania (grants you 2 treasure instead of one). All these curses are one-use effects.
Some curses, while seemingly bad, may be beneficial as well. For example, Curse of Cursed treasure will grant you a curse which you may want to gamble for a Curse of Cleansing to clear away a Curse of Fatigue. Curse of Meepitude will ensure the next room to be filled with meepits, so you can always give the correct answer.
I will be trying out a "curse approach" whereby I don't actually bother making the right answers (even if I know the right answer), so that I may accumulate tons of beneficial curses like Curse of Cleansing to clear away whatever Curse of Fatigue. I know that I will lose out on the prizes but hey, they are experiencing a huge deflation anyway.
2) As mentioned above, if you have a Curse of Cleansing, always use it to clear a Curse of Fatigue after you have cleared the whole level. This is so that you don't get slapped with another Curse of Fatigue which defeats the purpose of using Curse of Cleansing in the first place.
3) Save your curse of cleansing for those curse of fatigue which requires longer waiting hours. An hour of waiting is still better than waiting for 7-12 or more hours.
