Anyone know of a decent Jetsam Ace Battling guide out there?  I've looked and looked and can't find anything that suggests what minimum stats to have, decent items to use, etc.

I'm just getting into the Battledome and just starting training (stats are below 15 on all right now), and just curious to see if I can fight him now with certain techniques...and if not, what minimum level stats I'm going to need before I can start fighting him.

Here's a little something to get you started. It'll help out a little bit, but is by no means a walkthrough:

From my experience, it'd be in your best interest to have around your opponent's HP, or double if you lack firepower. There doesn't seem to be a Jetsam Ace guide out there :p

Thanks, and glad I'm not the only one that couldn't find one :)

Not a problem. Keep up with this thread for a little while, there might be a few people who can thoroughly help you out with Jetsam Ace specifically.

You need to trade/buy a BD pet or you could train your pet using an autotrainer (http://www.neocodex....-auto-trainers/).

How much are you willing to spend on a BD set?

For Jetsam Ace, you don't need to spend too much. A thick smoke bomb, some good 6 - 10 iconers, and a decent healer with a well-trained pet would do nicely.

I'm hoping more for a decent set (4mil NP at the most) in order to be able to beat him as soon as possible.  I just started training my pet, so I know I need to train him....just trying to figure out what would be the best set for the 4m or less price tag in order to be able to beat him as soon as possible.

Personally, I'd allot 50% of that to your main weapons (Ylana's blasters are really nice for your price range, pick up 1 or 2 depending on preference/how much you want to spend). The other 2 - 2.5m would go towards freezer/healer/blocker/stealer (s).

Thanks, been looking at Ylana's, might go ahead and get them soon.  Got a training fortune cookie to help speed things up a bit as well :)

if you have some spare NCs buy some faerie quest cookies too... they will speed your training tremendously.

I would avoid using single-use items, assuming you're BDing him to get nerkmids (earn nps). Try to train at least to the same hp and strength boost as him and also get a decent healer (Greater Healing Scroll should be good).

Yeah, I haven't been using any single items, I've beaten him once with the set I do have, but not realibly yet, so still working on it.  Getting ready to make a new post for assistance with creating a 1P set though, since that's a bit off topic for this specific discussion :).

Thanks for the help everyone.

Which you can find in addition to other guides in the Neocodex Guide Directory. The link is in my signature.
