Tune to every meteor shower I can. Geminids are amazing, even in a suburban neighborhood, I still get to see a lot.
It's just a natural high thinking about the endless worlds and the emptiness of it all.
By the way, it fucking astonishes me how so little people don't know how what galaxies, solar systems, universes, and nebulas are (or how to distinguish between them) . I mean, really, they are such basic facts people should have learned in the 4th grade.. I speak from personal experience, and I've seen a couple videos on youtube where they asked around in the streets, and most people really did not know.

Being a self-absorbed, stereotypical American, I generally only pay attention to the northwestern hemisphere events. I'll try to look closer at the rest of the world though.

Well, it rained for me during my solar eclipse.
God damnit!

It was super cloudy here. Ruined everything. Cleared up as soon as it was over. You were in a great spot for it too,

Jupiter and Venus will be super close together tonight. It's thought to be the same kind of celestial experience that the star of Bethlehem was.
