March 25th, something horrible happened.

My laptop tired of me and threw itself off the table.

Spoiler

I cried, y'all. I cried.

I finally got around to ordering a new screen and it came in the mail TODAY!

It was scary. I dunno if I'll recover properly. I just saw parts of my computer I never wanted to see.

But I pushed through and persevered. It is fixed and stuff.

(and then I forgot how to put the battery back in. But that's a different story.)

Under a hundred dollars, much less than a replacement laptop.

Nice!  I probably would have gotten a new laptop if I was in your position, but your decision was much smarter. XD

Good job! I was rootin' for ya!
I remember when my screen on my old old old laptop broke and I just used a monitor setup. I'd had the laptop for like a week when I broke it. Then I sent it to get fixed and it came back with a brand spanking new screen and a fried battery!

Shoulda just did it myself, those bastards.

Better tie the laptop down lest it tries to run away again.

It wasn't hard. The hardest part was literally trying to get the screw covers off cause I didn't realize they were basically stickers (I'm a moron!) It was super stressful though cause I was scared of breaking the brand new screw in the process of fixing it and having to start over.

Wow, great job! I've only had to break open my laptop once and it was so nerve-wracking. Couldn't pay me to do it again, I'm leaving it to the professionals.
