Man, why does everyone hate the word moist? Which relates to one of my favorite words: Swass.
I also like the word pusillanimous, but I don't use it much, because words are like money to me. The more there are in circulation, the less they are worth.

Crimson. The word sounds like how the color looks. I don't know how to explain it.
Proxemics. Chronemics. Haptics. Kinesics.
I probably also use "dammit" on a daily basis.

Obstinate.
Whenever someone argues with me, and never lets me speak, I smile and say, in an agreeable fashion, "Oh okay. You're obstinate. I got it." Sometimes I give them a thumbs up. Since they have no idea what it means, they feel satisfied.

I love this one too! Going to take a page out of your book and use it with the 'kidz' at Uni who can't seem to stop running their opinionated mouths

I also like the spanish word for platypus: ornitorrinco. Hmmm. My last two posts have had pus in them.
I also love when people use the word puss in a clinical setting to describe something and they write pussy. Pussy boils has a whole different meaning than what they think when they write it...

pus·sy 2 (ps)
adj. pus·si·er, pus·si·est
Containing or resembling pus.
Seems like a perfectly legitimate use of the word.
