Seems you are still able to miss if you aim at the center (I don't think it matters if you hit a gap or not).

Doubt it. There are 12128 items from r70 to r89 according to jn.
The only items that might get deflated are the ub ones (bag of peanuts, usukicon bags, snorkle snout, etc)

If 15,000 people play every day, and half of them get an item, then it would take just two days (on average) for one of every item in that range to be released. That's at least 100 more of every item each year. On most items, prices haven't crashed dramatically from Neopets' shrinking userbase because the drop-off in demand has been accompanied with slower restocking, so a drop-off in supply. But now I'm not so sure.

At which difficulty are you playing?
I'm testing my luck on the easiest, I get a prize everyday but no avatar yet.
I got the avatar on sides.
either medium or hard level
?random? for hitting and getting '?' under the balloon(or whatever they call it)
I not sure of random, my sides got it on first try
JN says random.

3rd try on Medium and I got the avatar. Green balloon, one row out from the centre, with the band-aid on it. There was a piece of paper with a '?' under it when it had been popped.

I've tried it on medium and hard like 5 times and still have never hit a balloon *cries*
