We used to do this with salt pots, leave the top unscrewed and then when someone goes to put a bit of salt on their dinner, they get the whole lot instead :p

That is so mean.

I usually walk until my body is powered out, then I crawl into my bed and listen to music or watch documentaries about wars. Then I go back to my pc and make an emo post on facebook, while I cry. And then I start browsing through my hapieness folder and/or tumblr, to get into a better mood.

I just haven't heard anyone mention Trance in years lol didn't think it was still around. All the old trance heads that i know moved on to shit like liquid dnb.

Or some Burial, this is like some deep thought music

Spoiler

There's also this type of music, which i have no idea what to class it as.

The video looks like sumit punk would be into tho

Spoiler

These are my types of songs to play when im miserable anyways.

Or for bonus points for relevance:

You should get a pet. They make for good companions and chilling buddies. If you like running, get a dog and go on jogs with him. Get an adorable kitty and snuggle the shit out of it until you feel better.

True dat ! :D I've heard petting relieve tension and one of the factor of reduction in hypertension. The care and love towards them will definitely help in temporarily forget outside problems, I once had a cat that'll always wait for me by the window until I came home. That leads to a great smile after such a hectic day and just by stroking it and see that he enjoys it makes me even happier :D other than that I just watched a whole season of new Animes or movies I haven't watched or play computer games :)

I have determined I go to beer.  Lots of it.  No drinks most week nights, then boom, I realize my manager is committing massive ethical violations in lying to customers on our scope of work (Let's just hypothetically say we said we'd install new bronze components worth upwards of 10k in raw material that didn't happen, never mind the machining cost, and half the shit didn't go out for machining like specified).

Yeah.  I'm pissed.

When you're feeling miserable watch this:

I found it on Facebook. One of the top comments was: "My cat watched this. He's a lion now."

I cry to my dog, hoping for a sympathetic reaction. I eat chocolate and hot cheetos. All whilst watching random youtube videos under my blanket and avoiding the problem.

Watch anime and play vidya games, avoid human contact at all costs. If fluffy animals are available touch fluffy animals

Awww hon, I'm sorry. :c If you can find a job doing something you like, it might be a good time-taker-upper, plus money! You could also volunteer. Otherwise, I find Facebook flash games can occupy me for frankly embarrassing amounts of time.

Also, just sayin', skype can be a lifesaver for long-distance relationships. Good luck!

a. I remind myself that it is only a matter of time before a better stage of life is sprung, even if it takes a long time. b. I drink LOTS of water, eat natural foods, try to get some sun and exercise my emotions away. c. I spend time remembering who I am and what I love in life by listening to music, meditating, visiting the forest, reading spiritual scripts, thinking, maybe some yoga while thinking and/or whatever is held at heart.

If none of these things make the miserable feelings go away I work on finding and using helpful natural medicines alongside the previous efforts. For example quality lingzhi mushrooms for tea (many many many benefits) , passionflower vines for insomnia, pure cocoa to supplement mental energy and sometimes smoke of the variety c. sativa.

I hope you find great luck feeling better, life can be depressing and dark but it can also be filled with love and happiness!  :) If you drink coffee (regularly) please remember that coffee works by producing stress hormones in your brain, for some of us and especially caffeine sensitive people that is the last thing our brains need to be dealing with.
