I've been collecting quotes for several years. I became so addicted I noticed I had a folder with +5k quotes in it. I think it's time to start sharing!
Care to post some of your favourite quotes?

I write quotes a lot in my commonplace book. I'm only slightly addicted though.
I love basically everything Neruda ever wrote, but this is the Neruda quote that rolls through my mind the most:
This one sums up my entire life:
And then a billion or so more.

What makes me so obsessed with quotes is that I find it interesting some people are/were able to put it down on words other people feelings/lives, sometimes without feeling/living themselves that situations.
When I read something that describes me so well I have to keep it, like I'm going to keep that Neruda one.
Translation:
"That my insanity be forgiven, because half of me is love, and the other half is too."

They're supposed to be inspirational or able to touch your most deep feelings (if you have them).
"You think I can fix myself?"
"I don't know."
"'Cause I'm the most screwed up person in the world."
"I know. I love you."

I like quotes. Sometimes they arent always good advice or words to aspire to. They can simply be thought provoking or powerful. These are probably not words I would live by, but have stuck with me for a few years and I find them to be grim and beautiful.
“God breaks the heart again and again and again until it stays open." -Hazrat Inayat Khan
"When the pain of remaining the same exceeds the pain of change, you will change." -Unknown
"She's a predator. Her eyes are in front. Her eyes are in front so she can judge the distance to her pray." Dan Smithson

Yep. And sometimes they just hurt us. But that's ok, truth hurts.
Love them all!

I know that, but If I started to visit that page frequently I'll start to have the need to look for other things in/on (?) Tumblr. And I don't have time for that.

Exactly.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm always looking for inspiration. Sometimes reading a quote that means something to me, helps me organize my ideas and let them out.
