Specifically, what shows/movies/books/hobbies/artists/LPers/whatever are you truly obsessed to that point that you are pissed off that the people in your immediate vicinity do not understand the awesomeness and passion that is invested in it? Like what shows do you have the utmost ships, art, fanfictions for? What reddits do you refresh for new content when you're in line or on the toilet? Ultimately, there are the things you enjoy and aren't afraid of posting on some internet forum, proclaiming your pride and confidence on the matter. 

 

What kind of trash are you?

I'm a Dangan Ronpa, Serial Killer Documentary, Master Chef (US+AUS mostly), and Rupauls Drag Race (may fall out it soon) trash

 

Dangan Ronpa because I enjoy the survival game genre (Hunger Games does not count) where people die in meaningful ways through facing their human struggles. Also students of all stereotypes kill each other, then the non-killers deduce who's the killer, and then the killer will get executed right in front of them through the most creative means. Also they bleed pepto bismal. I have too many gay ships and astoundinly one hetero non cannon ship for this fandom, it's sad.

 

Give me a date with Paris Hilton or Onika Maraj and I'll be sitting there stuffing breadsticks into my purse. Give me a date with a serial killers, I'll end up dismembered, but it will be a good first night. I've always been fasinated by the criminal mind, enough so to study for a career in it. Most serial killer documentaries are duds, but there's always gem hidden that shows pre-recorded footage that makes you crap your pants and still want to know more. Plus, they give me helpful "hints" for the future.

 

 

I just like food and this is a reality show that has less drama and focuses more on skills and luck. I can't stand Hell's Kitchen though. 

 

Rupaul's Drag Race fascinates me because it's one of those rare shows where the contestants are tested in a holistic manner in multiple branches of entertainment talent such as acting, improv, impersonation, make up, singing, dancing, designing, comedy, drama, and all that jazz. Lately the show has been less about showcasing talent and more about creating entertainment value from editing in non existent drama. Maybe I'll phase out of the show and support drag queens in person than behind a keyboard or TV.

i'm a top model trash. i've followed the show from the first season right to the 22nd season which premiered a few days ago. i pretty much grow up with the show. i love the show because it has everything that i need which includes fashion, photography and drama. not to mention HOT GUYS (starting from the 20th season). sadly the number of fans has dwindled to only a fraction of what it once was, probably because of tyra's nauseating megalomania and questionable judgement throughout the show.

 

 

rupaul's drag race is pretty awesome too. i've never been to a drag show so the show pretty much introduced me to the whole subculture of drag. i often find myself using the gifs from the show because they're all so over-the-top. i don't mind them emphasizing on drama than talent because who the heck watch reality tv for talent?

Cars. Specifically built cars, rare cars, and exotics. It's not just a hobby for me, it's a passion. I've made multiple friends who we have nothing else in common except for the love of automobiles. We love racing, building, pointless driving, whatever. As long as it's on four wheels, we can enjoy it and bond over it. I don't understand how people don't break their neck staring at a rare 1970s Porsche driving down the road or people who can't hear the beauty in a straight piped v10 revving and launching off the line

 

 

Not Hondas. S2k and NSX are the only exception.

Coldplay. It's an obsession to the point I spent most days mumbling their songs without noticing until people point that fact out telling me how annoying it is. I know every song like the back of my hand, and I'm yet to find one I don't like, I love them all, including the Ode to Deodorant (that annoys my husband to death) which can make me laugh nowadays like the first moment I heard it. It's a thing that grew with me, the first time I was in one of their concerts was back in 2000 and it was when I discovered them and it's been a perfect relationship since then.

Harry Potter. I've seen the movies more times than I can count, but every time I catch it on TV I have to watch it.

Serial Killers was already mentioned, so I'll skip that.

But in the same page, murders envolving children/teens (as victims and as perpetrators). I can't explain it. In highschool we had to make a work for the Psychology class and it was the theme I picked, I don't know why. It freaked my mum to see me searching for such things pretty much 24hrs/day during half a year. Fortunately (for her) she believed it was just for school and that I stoped back then. Well, mom, I didn't.
