Entry #1
In between where the pavements meet
The mascara runs as the rain strokes my face
As you touch the bullet holes in the wall and laugh
What a wonderful place it would be
Were it not that you are not there
And never were
And never will be
In between where the pavements meet
Entry #2
Our kingdom is between the sheets,
immune to the arrows flung by
infidelity and overdue rent.
Under the covers we are lovers,
confined by our passion
to extreme pleasure or depression.
Our lies will unravel soon,
stretched thin as we stray further
each afternoon, only coming home to
dream about what could have been.
And a quick recap of the rules and stuff:

Write a poem about the place in between, where two songs collide on the radio, dawn and dusk, the moment right when you wake up but not really, static, falling, etc

5. No multiple entries
