POPULAR POST!

So do you have a shell you want to build? Are you starting to rebuild and need a quick and easy way to get your account back?

Have no fear my guide here will help you build an account in no time ^_^

First Things First

What do people look for in main accounts?

There are certain things that people look for in main accounts:

  • Avatars
  • Trophies
  • Neodeck/Stamps
  • User lookup
  • Gallery/Shop

Avatars:

stampsfaerieland87393.gifstampsbattledome1337.gifstampsSnowy2312.gifstampsDesert0013.gifstampsHaunted3192.gifstampsVirtupets9764.gifstampsTyrannia3421.gifstampsMystery2352.gif

Most people consider a decent avatar count at around 200~ish

To start getting avatars I recommend starting off by clicking on this link with your empty shell: http://avatargrab.webs.com/

That should bring you to roughly 85 avatars ^_^

Once you have that much I recommend going to your neoboard preferences http://www.neopets.c...eferences.phtml

Right click and view page source (Link should look something like this: view-source:http://www.neopets.c...ferences.phtml)

Copy and paste the code into this helpful JN link: http://www.jellyneo.net/avatars/

Afterwards they show how to get the avatars you're missing ^_^

I recommend starting on all of the pet avatars or even simple avatars such as feeding your pet food etc.

Once you complete all the basic avatars you should be around 150 avatars. Score sending is a great way to start getting game avatars :)

Neocodex's program manager has score sender in it so you should download it :)

Futurama has a great avatar game guide which you should take a look at before score sending:

http://www.neocodex....er#entry1707107

After that you should have around 180-220 avatars :) That's a legit looking number for a main account ^_^ Of course, if you have problems you can always ask me for some help.

Trophies:

55_3.gif68_3.gif109_3.gif108_3.gif489_1.gif600_1.gif1173_1.gif

Everyone also will be looking at your trophy count so you want to buff up your account by getting trophies :)

Contained in Program Manager are several APers that will help you easily:

Pyramids

Cheat

Snow Wars

Neggsweeper

Gormball

Cellblock

Go Go Go!

As well I'm providing a list of scores that are safe to send:

These games are all the max score, however if you score send within reasonable time you're easily safe.

Spoiler

After all this you should have between 8 to 15 shiny trophies on your user lookup :D

Neodeck/Stamps:

sta_bd_slices.gifstamp_neo_petpets.gifstamp_tyrannia_wock.gifstamp_hal_trees.gifstamp_desert_coltzan.gifstamp_jelly_night.gif

Below I have a list of roughly 300 buyable stamps

People look at how many stamps you have so this is important :)

The stamps will cost between 1.2-1.8 Mill

Spoiler

As well people do look for neodeck cards as well :)

Thee list I'm providing contains 200+ buyable neodeck cards

These neodeck cards cost between 800k-1.2 Mill

Spoiler

User Lookups

The neopets basic layout isn't really impressive and people often look at how the layout appears before.

Thankfully our forum has several people who are willing to create user lookups if requested.

As well we have a graphics trading post ^_^ You can request a UL there

However here are a couple of premade sites that I really like ^_^

http://www.neopets.com/~Tines

http://www.neopets.com/~Celusio

http://www.neopets.com/~ORGRIMMAR

Gallery/Shop

222_1.gif

This is easily the most basic one ^_^

Simply build them to size 10~ish which is really cheap and easy

For a gallery i recommend something really cheap and basic:

http://items.jellyne...ice&numitems=20

A Jelly gallery will give you like 100 items below 1K each

Hope this guide helped, enjoy codex ~* I'll be updating a bit more each day

Pretty solid guide for sure. I am glad to see you and other newbies being active participants in the Codex community. I am curious though, do you have a rough estimate as to how much the stamp/neodeck list in it's entirety would cost?

I may withdraw about 2 million from the bank later and run one of these lists and see just out of curiosity. I don't have any cards in my Neodeck and my account is 12 years old, so it may be a little easier for me to try that one.

For sure ^_^

Let me know how much it costed you and I could add it to the guide ^_^

I really like how you added in those stamp and deck lists, they'll be a big help for people. The links you've added are nice as well, they make everything easier to get to. I've gone ahead and added this to our guide directory.

Could you post an estimate of how much the set of steps and the set of cards may cost a user?

Also just read responses. I am dumb and didn't notice it was already brought up.

I am giving the stamp list a shot now. I have 1.5 million on hand. I may not get them all bought tonight, but I'll take note of how much I spend during each run of the USAB.

I bought the first 41 stamps so far, stopping at "Christmas Zafara Stamp" and I have spent 861,480 NP. At this rate, I think I will spend much more than the initial estimate, however, I am doing this in alphabetical order, so there may be some cheap ones further on down in the list.

Good job!

Wtf is with all the smileys though? Would've been a better job without, would come off more professionally (lol it's just neocodex and my opinion).

@talbs

I'm fairly sure my price thing is accurate :p As I bought 400 stamps under <  3mill

Right now you're buying items in the 20-50k range

I should've priced it from cheapest to most expensive

Guys I'll be buying the neodeck list just to get a rough amount of how much it costs

I had to suspend my efforts. I spent around 1.6 million and was able to buy the first 70-75 stamps. For some reason, the USAB doesn't automatically buy the cheapest stamps it can find, and I'm not sure why. I just happened to see it grab a few stamps for like 85k, and then I was able to find them using the Shop Wiz for like 15k. Since I was just throwing away NP I decided to quit.
