A thread with TWO purposes:

a) Have you ever been told you look like somebody famous? If so, who? Do you agree? 

b) Have you noticed any lookalikes?

 

 

a) I've been told I look like Winona Ryder a couple of times when I'm brunette. I don't see it. I think it's just that we're both quite pale with big eyes..

 

b) We'll start you off, with what we think is an uncanny similarity between Chris Pratt in the Parks & Rec days, and that guy who plays Luschek in OitNB. It's like a glimpse into the future when Chris Pratt's hairline recedes:

Have you ever seen or met your doppelganger anywhere? Do you think you'd recognize yourself in someone else? Can you find yourself in pictures of crowds?

 

No, I haven't. Yes, I do. Yes, I do. I hate how I look in pictures, though.

 

I've had people tell me that someone else looked just like me, sometimes even famous people, but even if I had a lost twin, I wouldn't think so. Sometimes I know they actually look like me, but I can accept it. Not sure why.

There's a guy in my class that looks so much like @Alexiel. It's actually scary.

I haven't seen the Alexiel lookalike since I left that course.

 

There was a girl in my class that looks A LOT like Vause from oitnb (too lazy to check her name). I hardly pay attention to similarities in other people, only when it's too obvious

Like I can kinda see it... kinda, but like Ali, I think a lot of it is the long, dark hair (mine is MUCH longer) and the dark eyebrows with very pale skin. Maybe the jaw and cheekbone structure a little. Maybe nose? Our eyes and lips are pretty different. Closest one I can think of.

As far as celebrities looking like other celebrities - Emma Watson totally looks like Richard Dawkins. It's like he's her real dad. They have the same knowing smirk.

So my brother is the spitting image of Sheldon (aka Jim Parsons). And I thought it would be funny to get us a life-size stand up of Sheldon. Which basically just ended up with us using him to scare the shit out of eachother .. I think the worse was when Hobo put him in the shower.

The AT&T commercial girl and Boo are definitely spot on!

Closest I've gotten with lookalikes is that people told me my style reminded them of Adele and/or Lana Del Rey. Can't recall ever being told I look like someone. I'm open to suggestions.

I do recall that I found myself looking quite similar to Beth from the Walking Dead when I still had whiteblonde hair. Just a fat version though lol.

Apparently, when I had that 90s boy band haircut that @Drakonid loves so much, I used to look similar to Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral.

I once had one of those "which celeb is your doppleganger?" face-analysis type sites tell me I look like Queen Latifah. As a small white youth this confused me greatly.
