Has anyone been frozen for this?

There is a topic here with a list of pets' birthdays. You can adopt and pound one per day and it's way more efficient than creating 4 and pounding them a week later.

I did this for a couple of months and never got frozen (at least not because of that)

If you create a new pet, you need to wait a week before you can abandon it in the pound. It's easier to just adopt them.
