Is there a place with an avi difficulty list? I want to start collecting more but now that the site is half mobile half web some of them just seem broken so starting with real easy ones seems like a good idea!

Usually the games tend to be the most difficult, especially if it's one of those "be in x spot on the leaderboard" ones. Then the ones that require specific score thresholds, especially with flash now broken and AoB possibly having issues as it did use flash to work. 

 

Clickable ones will be the easiest,  JellyNeo has lists which are separated into categories based on how the avatar is obtained. https://www.jellyneo.net/?go=avatars

The Neocodex AvatarLog still works, however it is old and no longer includes the most recent avatars released. 

 

Item ones can be a mix, as SuperPea! is the most elusive as the item is now retired. Some are easy, like feeing a pet something with the word "carrot" in it (Do Not Eat! avatar)

Stamp collections can also be very difficult and expensive. 

 

Pets can be difficult as well, as all current Pet avatars require you to own specific pet types/colors or specific petpets. 

 

Then there's the random awarded ones which are probably the most difficult after the game/expensive item ones, since you have no control over when you obtain it. 

 

Battledome ones depend on your pet really except for all the battleground ones. 

 

Event avatars are pretty easy, usually you just have to participate in the annual events, like the negg festival and such. 

 

So I suppose the order might be (most to least) random>pet>expensive/retired items>game>battledome>event avatars>easy items>clickables
