I just got back from the dentist now and I had to have 2 fillings (I think) and now my whole mouth is really really numb, and to make things worse my shoulder is really aching grrr what a day =(

Poor Frosty 
I've only ever had one filling.. but it was evil. The dentist told me to close my eyes whilst she 'sprayed' something on my gums. A very pointy needle-y kind of spray that punctured my gums 
I say kill them all!

yea same as me!, since my last post I had to have a sleep because my mouth and shoulder was hurting, well my mouths ok now but my shoulder still hurts

I went to the dentist a few months ago. Nothing wrong just have to brush my teeth more often.

But seriously.. poking around in people's mouths is a disgusting job, so they HAVE to have some kind of hidden agenda. Like child kidnapping, or having a love of causing pain. Or a tooth fetish.

Frosty you will have to go to the surgery next door to the dentist after to sort out that nose lol =P all that coke can't be good for it.

haha...ive had to have a total of about 8 fillings lol...one ti'me the little gas mask didnt work and it hurt really bad until I passed out, or thats atleast what my moms says cause I cant remember lol

lol I have had 4 fillings. The last one I had the dentist said it wasn't to deep so he would try to get it without freezing my gums. Well it was deep, and it hurt. I also have had loads of surgery

Ali, don't be scared. I just wen't to the dentist last Thursday to have my back tooth fixed, where one dentist's filling went bad (he probably did it on purpose so I would have to come back and give hi'm more money), but I went to a new dentist and it didn't hurt at all. Tell them you NEED gas and that you have a very LOW pain tolerance. They will turn your gas up and put more topical numbing stuff on before your shot!

Oooh nasty, when I had to have 5 teeth taken out, one removed from in my gum they gave me general anesthetic. I had to go to the doctors today  and orthodontist on Thursday.

Oh no....I have to have a filling at the end of June? Do they hurt loads? My friend has them without having an injection...because she's crazy.

Lol they dont hurt that much.. everyone is just overreacting or I can take the pain.. Only prob is choking on the loose parts of the filling

ive had 7 teeth pulled out in one session...that was my baby teeth that had to be pulled before I could get braces ...the first one split in half while the dude was trying to take it out...half came out and the other half stayed in which was removed after...the next 4 were other teeth that werent ready to fall out so they left huge holes in my gums ...and the last two were molar type teeth that just kind of snapped out....during the ti'me...I faked that I had to go potty so I could get away from it for a while...my mom knew what I was doing so she followed me and dragged me back ...

Well, I don't mind the dentist too much, but I don't like going. I can handle pain really well.
It's the orthodontist that gets to me. These darn braces of mine :closedeyes:
