Whats the better gaming console PSP or DS
I personally think PSP but meh (elian is gonna kill me for saying this but) I really hate ds
*Twitch*
Oh and a fact people. DS has outsold PSP by 3x the amount
Fine.
How the hell does the PSP video support suck? YOUR DS DOESN'T EVEN HAD VIDEO! And even if it did, it would be all pixelated and look like crap. Like something from SNES.
COMPARE:
Ridge Racer DS to Ridge Racer PSP
DS
PSP
That explains a lot.
Also Need for Speed: Most Wanted will own Mario Kart anyday.
Mario Kart in lieu to Most Wanted.
Also, the hackablity(made-up word ) features are far beyond the limitations of DS. For god sakes, you can have your own customizable OS, web browsers, game emulators etc etc.
WHO GIVES A CRAP ABOUT A TOUCH SCREEN!
Siner. You can have a Console with good Graphics. But what is a Console that has GOod Graphics but Shit. 1: Games and 2 : Shit button layout/Usage
The DS Graphics might be half as good. But there game's and Selection seem to be Kicking PSP's ass. Oh and the Top rated game on PSP is Lumines (Spelling?) Which is Tetris -_-

Oh and you guys wanna know what's really funny
An article I found
"Yikes. Despite great press and user enthusiasm, there's a growing worry that Sony's first foray into portable gaming--the PlayStation Portable (PSP)--is doing horribly in the market. The most dramatic proof comes from Japan, where the PSP is being handily outsold by the less technically impressive Nintendo Dual Screen (DS). In fact, the Nintendo DS is selling so well in Japan that it actually outsold both the Sony PSP and PlayStation 2 (PS2) combined in 1 week. Analysts say Nintendo is seeing a sales resurgence thanks to the recent release of Nintendogs, a cute new DS title. But this data begs a thought: Maybe Nintendo really is on to something with its new "games first" mantra. Are impressive technical capabilities really that unimportant?"

Stop using the games as an excuse. Read what I said in a previous post.
People who can grasp the concepts of most of today's reality enjoy these games. Whereas weaker minded people cannot distinguish the reality and are led to acquire less evolved games. This symbolically also shows the difference between the two gamers.

I don't think the DS is for "mentally weak" or children necessarily. Intellgent older people could probably go for a round of side scrollin mario as well .
There is no doubt that the psp brings more to the table multimedia wise. I never said it didn't . I am just saying there are reasons to like the ds as well.
And elian... sales is not a very good reason to base a argument on. Thats like saying the dreamcast was inferior because it didn't sell many copies

Oh and I just noticed one of your quotes Magnus:
Excuse me me but when has the Mario games ever tried to be realistic? Most of the Mario games are platform games (you know jumping up and down from platform to platform where you controll your character like a puppet)The point is it is more realistic. People want to be apart of the game. When shooting it up is Socom 3, you feel as if you the character. However with Mario there is no realism to it.
Comparing a FPS to that doesn't make sense to me at all.
Oh and just to quote something random "Tetris is such an unrealistic game"
