Yes that is one way you can do it if you need to self-transfer. A way that's makes this method 10 times easier is the firefox extention reload every. You have it refresh on the adopt link so that you don't miss in the few second between changing browsers

There is a program that will do it. I think i have it and it was made by a friend.
Get your friend to sign up, and he can submit the program.

And neopets definately allows you to self-transfer and swap your pets around accounts, it even warns people that you can't adopt coloured pets under 4 months incase you're planning to readopt it when you go to the disown page .

Go to Google,
Type in Quick Adopt Link.
Copy and paste to an account you want your pet transferred to put in its name.
Disown, go to other browser paste it all in, and refresh.

If you havent got your answer you can Use Firfox www.firefox.com or Internet Explorer commonly Known as IE www.internet explorer.com theres also Oprea www.oprea.com i think use ie and ff though there the best two. I discovered this method awhile back pretty safe.
