Yeah - its the customisability that I like the most. Add-ons... etc. Brilliant piece of software.

Sounds like if the problem is confined to Vista then it is a problem with Vista...

Two gigs of RAM? Dang, I'm stuck on half a gig, and it's dying. I need to replace it soon.

Firefox FTW. Been using it on XP since I discovered it's tabbed browsing, plugins and the entire overall experience, never looked back since. However, firefox has been lagging occasionally on Vista for me.(Hmm,I wonder why I have to switch back to Microsoft IE after changing a Microsoft OS.)

And Icey spams. biggrin.gif

I use firefox.. i like how it can be customized as little or as much as you want... IE doesn't work good for me at all and I haven't tried out vista, so I wouldn't know how firefox ran on vista.

I use firefox because of the tabbed browser and the bar of favorites you can have at the top, that's all really, there used to be a neopets plugin that was good (when I used neopets) but a message came up saying that it's no longer safe so I removed it, didn't want to be iced more then needed. So these days there's nothing stopping me from returning to the newer version of IE, seeing as it has basically just copied the features FF has, but they went and put buttons in funky places and I love my favorites bar across the top, so FF it is.

*ends babble*

Firefox is nice but the memory leaks it has are annoying as hell, it's like if I leave it open for a while my games start to lag. I'm using Vista also.

I originally didn't like Firefox because it slowed my PC. But I got a faster one, and now I wouldn't use anything else. It's just so.. customisable! The tabs, the favourite bar, the plugins.. it's just so much smexier. I don't like IE's tabs as much as FF.

Having said that, Firefox is just a browser. All the people shouting about it all the time are worse than those evangelical god botherers tongue.gif

I also love the spellcheck feature tongue.gif (Interesting spell check is apparently wrong o.o).

Most of the time, FF spellcheck sucks. One time I spelled extremely 'extreamly' and it gave me variations of 'streamline' tongue.gif

I can't stand the new IE, it's terribly hard to use, half the stuff I want is gone or just too dam difficult to find now, there's no guide to explain where things are, I just find it damned annoying and when I'm on the Uni network it's all I can use (mostly coz I'm lazy to set up all the settings and shit for FF).

I'm a big fan of FF due to some very good ad-ons such as adblock, reload every and a few others. I was also drawn to the tabs but that's not so new. I also love the spellcheck feature tongue.gif (Interesting spell check is apparently wrong o.o). I did like the skins and stuff too but after an incident where a corrupt skin sent my browser into the unusable stage and had to wait till a new version came out, I wasn't such a fan of skins.
I honestly don't notice any speed differences.

For the skin problem, you have to start FF up in Safe Mode, then uninstall the skin wink.gif. Happened to me before.
