Questions about Neopets?

Thats kind of a complicated question because there is restocking and there is profitable restocking.
Simply put, restocking is the act of buying things from the main neopian shops (some of them found here http://www.neopets.com/objects.phtml, there are others scattered throughout the neopians lands))and selling them in your shop or trading them, the intention being to find item that is priced well below what people will pay for it in user shops and trades.
To buy an item from the main shops you must click on it then you get the haggle screen. Input your offer price into the dialougue box (try to haggle for an even amount near the asking price, like if they want 2700, offer 2500 or 2200) and click on the pet in the security image (the faded image oi a blurry pet on a random neopian backdrop), of course when chasing after high profit items you must take care to do all this as quick as possible because there will be many others doing it at the same time. If you succeeded then it will say the shopkeeper accepted your offer, otherwise it will give a counteroffer which means you have to rehaggle or say the item is sold out if someone beat you to it.
As for which items and where to restock, there are many places you can go. My advice is to start out with a fringe shop that isn't visited often like darigan toys. Learn what stocks in the shop and what is profitable. As you get good at spotting profitable items and getting them then you can set your sights on the more popular shops like furniture (lots of hard to sell, but profitable unbuyables), pharmacy and magic (morphing potions are huge here) and of course the motery (avatar for restockiing rarity 70+?) and chocolate (avatar for 90+? confirm?) shops

Frugle, wouldn't it be better if I gave the shopkeeper the exact price he wants?

It's just faster to type in 131313 because the numbers are so close.
If the item is 21987, just do 22222

Like in a trade, my wishlist usually comprises of something like: "250k pure, or 200k plus 100k in ets items" To a new member that would make very little sense...especially if they've not played other games before.
Something like that would have really helped me out when I first started xD. Sounds like a great idea. Not sure how much help i would be but let me know if I can give you a hand with it.

If you could include battle weapon abbreviations in that list, that would totally rock. Sometimes, I think people on BDC are just typing random letters

I used to use it, but most of the time it took away levels. I know you're supposed to click at 59 secs. past the minute, so I guess it must have been because of my Internet connection (which is quite good, anyway).
So does it work for you?

I thought it was reliable, but my connection wasn't good enough for it to work. But I'm not going to use it anymore.
New question: is there a way to see which items in your SDB are r99?
