Sounds good to me, I think it's time for some demotions/promotions anyways smile.gif

Yeah, demotions... Get rid of the jerkoff who tampered with my signature, Brandon who messed with the thing above my tags (BTW, I need another 100 post day tag), and Kitsune for editing part of my signature. thumbsup.gif

Steps in the right direction. Now we just need a little bit more member accountability.

Well sure, I think all of the staff understand that you do have to do a bit of work and care about the site to stay staff. I don't think that's the biggest part of our problem, just a lot of leaders and staff are unsure of exactly what to do, and what limits they have, etc...

I would like to see the leaders making more of an active role in their sections with the administrators taking a bit more of a backseat approach. Don't get me wrong, we admins will still be doing a lot here, but you will get to see a lot more of the staff and leaders in news posts and stuff (for example).

Your moderators obviously care enough about the site to tamper with my signature dry.gif Thats an extremely large (blown out of proportion) problem. I demand that you demote all staff until one fesses up. wink.gif

-Realizes nothing will be done about the issue-

I find that pushing limits is the most interesting thing to do. blink.gif Being too cautious isn't fun.

If you were a mod and you did that to me I wouldn't care... AS LONG AS YOU TOLD ME blink.gif I lied, I don't care either way. But once I find the F-er, he/she/it (Hey, I have to include it, I cannot exclude Sean) will never hear the end of it... Or will they? blink.gif

It wont affect us regular members... unless.... The staff botches something, starts enforcing things, and does stuff (for once wink.gif)

This should mean better communication channels in the event of a problem. Besides that, you might see improvements in the leaders' respective areas as their grasps of their responsibilities increases. But not my area. Its already perfect whistling.gif

Actually, lately we've been relatively clean. Quite an improvement from 6 months ago when entire batches of private discussions were being leaked. Maybe people appreciate their rank more now?

I still don't know how a certain member got a hold of a certain rant I had dry.gif. There was NO way he just found that by going into my profile.

I told you straight away that I'd edited smile.gif You're free to get rid of it, I have no reason to still be it there.

You did? Where?! o.o I thought you only added the green line of text. I'm not going to remove it, I don't remove things that are done to my profile/signature, with the exception of the sex change.

And Cata is lucky he is retired... Or else he wouldn't have made the cut. Has anyone PASSED when they were already Priv+?

Oh and for the record, leader positions weren't particularly clear. The only way we figured it out was because when one leader quit the existing one taught the other one the ins and outs. Well that's how it was for contest team anyway. Over time things get a bit unclear. The PM Michie and I got were really good, it set out the things we're supposed to be doing, and if we're doing that aspect correctly or if it needs working on. And then some questions as to information the admins don't know about. For example, SL wasn't sure what pre-requisites were needed to be contest team member. Now that's all clarified.

Yup, a few other leaders found it helpful too, and so did I. tongue.gif

I still don't get the point of these leader tags (I get private, retired, gfx etc), they don't really seem to propose a useful purpose.

I think it is a reality that some of the sections on the board are getting easily forgotten like a lawn not getting mowed for a while. Hopefully with the leaders participation we can spruce up the place and can even boost activity in this manner.

it does seem like everyone has been camping out in the general chat and the neopets areas dosn't it? Not that it's a bad thing, but it would be nice to seee the whole furum active once more.

Yep, and with the leaders more educated as to what they need to do, we should see some improvement. Most of all, the members visiting the board will experience some fun and will want to stick around. tongue.gif
