I'll try and sort that one out now. Does the cipher work for those too?

Hmm, they have different lengths...

Yeah, the cipher works.
There's five of the three modifier ones with six different symbols, and five with seven.
You have to do the six symbol ones before the sevens are available.

But how would it work when they have different lengths? blink.gif

I just can't bring myself to sit there and run through all the possibilites by hand... even knowing the cipher barely helps for the three-mod ones x_X

Only the "Data Incomplete" ones have different length modifiers. They also happen to be the seven symbol ones. You can't complete them until you've done the six symbol ones, I believe.

Ok, I think I've got the triples sorted now. tongue.gif

Yep everything is working now. biggrin.gif

To get the data required to solve it, you'll need to go to the following link:

http://www.neopets.c...l?id=MESSAGE_ID

Replace MESSAGE_ID with the Message ID number you can find on the top left of the window in the game. Then if you post them for the triples I'll solve them for you.

11
18
27

But not the actual numbers on the game, you have to count a different way.

1 = 1
16 = 2
2 = 3
17 = 4
3 = 5
18 = 6
etc

So 11 is actually number 6.

If you read the thread from the very start you'll get the general idea. tongue.gif

Go to the data link, copy the parts of the data you need, then just paste them in the appropriate boxes. biggrin.gif

Note that you only need to find the message about loading civilians onto the docking ships, from Commander Garoo in order to complete the step. Once you get that message, refresh.

The big long set of data separates with commas are the modifier list. The start key and target are near the start of the data page, look for 2 strings which look pretty similar and have 5-10 characters in them.

The chars is how many possible characters are in the current puzzle. So if the modifiers contain the letters A-E it would be 5 (A,B,C,D,E), if it was A-G it would be 7.

REMOVED from paranoia
That's what I got on the data page.....

I think the only thing I'm stuck on is what to put in the 'Modifier List' box. Do I put the whole of the last section in?

EDIT: Nevermind...Ange must have posted the guide as I was writing my post tongue.gif

Ok I'll do a quick tutorial for the prog:

You should only really use this once you're on the triple mod boxes, but make sure to tick the box at the top as to if you're doing doubles or triples.

Go to this link:
http://www.neopets.c...html?id=replace with your message ID

Lets say you have this:
g60ee8ac3hhc3f34|0||BEFEFBFCGF|DCAEBBAFBF|3|ABBFFDAEBD,CFEAFGGBGD,GDCHHBEBAF,BBEACFDGED,GCGGCGBBCE,ECDEGFFFBB,CBGFFCDGBA,CEBAEFGFCC,CFFEGBCAEC,DFDCDGADCB,AEGDFGGGAG,ADBDDDDBGB,FEEFFBBBFC,GEEDGAFFGE,CEFBGBCCGC,DDGBBCCGCD,EGBBDEBDDD,BAEGEDEEGD,FFDFEEAECA,FGBFFDBFAD,CGAFFDBEDC,CABGAAGECE,DEGBGFGDBC,CFBFGCEECC,DEGBACEEBC,DACACAAFAB,BAECGCADAC,CDCDBAFEEE,CCGABEGBDF,GGDBBGFAGE|20. Message ID:|Key:|Result:|Target:|Back To Inbox|Modifier 1:|Modifier 2:|Modifier 3:|

Red is the start key
Purple is the Target
Blue is modifier (Make sure to not copy those last couple things at the end of the modifier part.
Chars: Five for doubles, then for triples:Six for the ones where the Key is eight chars long, Seven for the ones where the Key is ten chars long

Out-put will show up with 3 numbers. Find them on the following list to find out which number code to choose.
If you are give the numbers 4, 5 and 6 as output you then choose code number 17, 3 and 18.

1 = 1
16 = 2
2 = 3
17 = 4
3 = 5
18 = 6
4 =7
19 =8
5 =9
20 =10
6 = 11
21 =12
7 =13
22 =14
8 =15
23 =16
9 =17
24 =18
10 = 19
25 =20
11 =21
26 =22
12 =23
27 =24
13 = 25
28 =26
14 =27
29 =28
15 =29
30 =30

I give my official endorsement to this guide. tongue.gif
