Dan said that the post count shown in posts is the actual post count and the one in profiles is the count of visible posts, or something like that.
I just presumed that the post count, if slightly higher on your profile page, is including posts from areas on the board like chit-chat etc that dont count towards your posting total? which is shown below your avvie on posts themselves.

Didn't someone once say codex would NEVER become a pay site?
I disagree, out of many many reasons. The staff is putting a lot of efforts and developing high quality programs for free. It takes a lot of time to code and check things to make sure your butt won't be sent to iceland, and all of that is given to you on a silver plate - totally for free.
They're only charging 5 bucks a month for advanced options, the programs, the DB, the forum - all free of charge. You don't have to pay for that.
And the best part about it - if you do want those advanced options so badly, 5 bucks a month is hardly anything at all. Stupid NC costs a lot more. Just an example.

Yeah five bucks a month isn't bad at all. And you still get access to abrosia and neo Gen, but they're just not as useful. And you can get them for free, you just have to contribute. As long as you're active enough, you never have to pay a cent.
Thats right! I mean five bucks is like pocket change right? It is worth it you get more nps on the np gen, also you get more options on the neocodex site and programs.

Five bucks is 4 bottles of coke to me Btw, where IS this np gen? I can't find it in the programs section, so I'm either blind - or it's not there.

Under DOWNLOADS, go to NEOPETS PROGRAMS, and it is the FIRST ITEM listed.

Ohh, so that's where it is, thanks! Any thread regarding the release? I like to read stuff from other users' experience

There was... but it's gone? That's the oddest thing...
Well let me give you the general gist then.
1. It can only be run every 24 hours... most of us suggest 48 for best results.
2. Regular members will receive about 40k per run. Advanced receive about 78-80k per run.
3. This is a tested and relatively safe program.
4. Don't run it on multiple accounts, as that will get you frozen.

I just checked and it hasn't been made invisible so I can only presume that it's been deleted or moved out of the programming section for some reason. You may want to ask iargue or an admin about what may have happened there.

I would say that if you leave the settings as they are and use it one one account only, the freeze rate is somewhere around.... I dunno .005? Half a percent? It's ludicrously low.

How do I renew for 6 months, and not 1?
http://www.neocodex....p=subscriptions
Check the radio button next to the one which says Advanced Membership ($2 off per month) and then continue as normal.
