Ooohhhh... excellent. Even though the plotline is incredibly linear because it has to be, I keep playing these games every time one is released. I put off playing Pokemon HeartGold because I had not yet finished the latest Ace Attorney game.

You just made me remember how I used Ace Attorney to begin to use logic in my exams ahha. I got a 8.25/10 in a test because I used logic in a physics test lol, and almost got a question in Geography because of it too lol

How come nobody has mentioned the Legend of Zelda? I love that series too much and Ocarina of Times was the best IMO.

I also have a fondness for the Harvest Moon series with Back to Nature being the best. SO much better than Farmville!

Zelda wasn't that great for me though. I loved Metal Gear though.

Nobody around here likes the idea of Mario Party going wifi so you can hook-up with others and get a game going?

ZELDA!!! Ahhh! I loved Ocarina, but I think I liked Majora's Mask more... idk something about how it was a bit "darker" for some reason.

I got SUPER addicted to harvest moon for the gameboy (old one) but I never played any of the other ones. I am afraid I would get addicted to those as well T_T;;

No one has mentioned Fallout?!
Great first two games and then they rebirthed the series with fallout 3 all three are amazing games well worth playing!!
Fallout New Vegas is on the way this autumn(Fall) as well seriously can't wait.

Would you please explain why you think so? Personally I've thought that all GTA games have been quite repetitive with not much innovation in between games.

And I also think the answer to this "debate" depends on the person playing.

I think final fantasy is great, but the more recent ones are quite bad. Sims I like too

BattleField series destroys CoD series in every way. Except for CoD4:MW. CoD4:MW was a masterpiece. MW2 is too arcadey and too easy. BF takes real skill and team work.

I loved kingdom hearts on the PS2 until they decided to release chain of memories for the PS2. The card battle crap was stupid and pissed me off. Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 will always be my favorite PS games except for Final Fantasy 7 of course. It is probably because those are the only three games I've ever been able to beat haha.

I'm not sure which I'd pick as the best, but these are some of my favourite series:
Pokémon.
Crash Bandicoot 1-3 and the first racing game. I refuse to acknowledge any beyond this.
The first couple of Spyro games. Again, ignoring any others that followed. Oh god why did they try to make Spyro serious what the hell
The Discworld point and click games.
The Ace Attorney series. Currently playing through them in order.
