Everyone knows that post-avant jazzcore is the only aural stimulation good enough to be qualified as music.

Allmusic does not acknowledge your hipster kid bullshit.

The sound of children crying
My mother humming songs from motherland into a kazoo
Greatest hits of the Spanish Inquisition
Charlie Sheen

Fixed all that for you.

I love to listen to Ambient/space music. A lot of Jonn Serrie, of course. Deep Forest, etc. But when just listening to iPod, I like anti-folk (Regina Spektor, Ani Difranco, Alanis, etc.) :)

depends on the situation, so much. I am such a music fan i will amost listen to anything. Even things like classical and such I can listen to just out of appreciation. I mostly listen to rap (I know, dumb...but it's catch to me haha) also a lot of alternative rock. Screamo too. a lot of country...pretty much anything.

I listen to a bunch of stuff. A lot of electronic (umbrella term for a lot, but I don't care about all the billions of classifications), some pop, hip-hop, 80s stuff, classical, Chinese pop, and Korean pop.

Lately I have been listening to a lot of Coldplay though.

I can handle almost anything, but I'm extremely picky when it comes to rap/hardcore metal.

I like classic and instrumental. Have you heard of the group The Piano Guys? They're amazing. The only singer I like is Kyary, I love her cute songs.

I like hipster music. I don't classify myself as a hipster, but damn do I love the stuff p4k does. Not always, but "hipster music" is what most accurately describes my taste

I really like ambient music that is good for actually listening too as well as being fantastic background music. I like music with words too, but music without words is something that I'm always in the mood for.

Andy Stott's "Luxury Problems" has been my most played album for a long time now. I've also been listening to Erik Satie's "Piano Works" album this past week

And I like jazz. Miles Davis "In a Silent way" has been the CD that I listen to in the car for quite some time now

I'm a metalhead at heart, mostly power & death. Love me some blind guardian or bathory. technical death is fun, stuff like arkaik and son of aurelius (which my friend calls "deathcore", probably because he doesn't like the oscellations between growling and screaming, lol.)

aside from metal i also like psychadelic music (django django comes to mind), a little bit of 80's (talking heads ftw), and more modern stuff as well (like death cab for cutie)

my second favorite genre, though, would have to be industrial metal/electro-industrial. bands like rammstein, skinny puppy, and :wumpscut: brighten my day.

aside from that, basic electonic stuff is another fave. crystal castles, ratatat..

i guess i have a bit more variety in my tastes than i usually give myself credit for.

I will listen to almost anything if it sounds good to me, my friends link me things all the time so my playlist has things from rock to dubstep. Though if I had to pick a genre it would have to be rock/classic rock
