I think Lady Gaga is an overhyped, overrated and generic pop singer.
Sure, her videos are ~*different*~ than other artists videos, and I applaud her for that, but her music? It sucks. I am a huge pop fan and it just sounds like the same old crap you hear on the radio. There's nothing breath-taking about it or unique about it and her lyrics are not meaningful at all.

Her fashion sense is also questionable, I guess she does it for the attention and the shock... but it's just looking too ridiculous rather than, "Oh my gosh it's so edgy."

She should go back to the way she was when she first released Poker Face. She tries too hard. Quite frankly the only song/video I like from her is "Telephone" and that's because Beyonce is in it, lolz.

They are really different than the way she is now. Perhaps they will give you a slightly different perspective?

Bad Romance has quite the amount of covers on youtube.
There was this one male choir group from some university that did Bad Romance and it was really good.
My university did its own version of Bad Romance too lol.
I think that song has a huge impact. =/

lady gaga is all hype. like almost everyone else here, i think her music is quite catchy, though generic. she sets out to shock - and accomplishes it - and i respect that.

she's been very clever in embedding herself so thoroughly in the public eye, and that's something you have to give her mad snaps for that. i think she's sort of like paris hilton in that she's mostly just famous because she's famous, and is always up to something that makes people go O____O

but....

when people start comparing her to mozart (it has happened) i just have to shake my head. she's good, but she's not that good.

I think she overdoes her look a little. I understand the whole she wants to be different / unique thing. A dress made of meat though? Also i think her dick is probably bigger than mine..
