Avoid like the plague. They always seem to have a tight community and everyone knows everyone else. Hard to join a thread without raising suspicion and even if you succeed, you get zilch.
Exactly. Everyone knows EVERYONE else on a FIRST NAME basis. Each seperate board is it's own community, and they don't like newcomers. Being a new poster on a Neoboard is like asking to have them stalk you until they find a reason to report you and have you frozen.
No thanks... just post @ codex to fulfill your forum needs

for the most part i just stay away from them, even on my main... the ONLY thing I EVER use them for is to push a few advertisements for my shop in the Shop Ads forum, which is just pretty basic communication.
Anything more complicated then that runs immediate risk of being reported by trigger happy 8 year olds, trust me... the Neoboards are a breeding ground for Neo-Police (grammar nazi's) waiting to jump the gun and have you banned for mentioning facebook or something ridiculous that has like 0.47% RL connection, but just enough to get banned for.
Neoboards? Not worth it, unless for quick advertisements.

Oooh, get you. Aren't you the helpful one.
... is that a bad thing? I saw the link in his Sig and figured it was a current release considering it's being posted all over the site, and luckily noticed the last time it was edited was 8 months ago. I figured I'd post and mention something so other new members didn't experience the same thing I did but not be so lucky as to notice the last modified date on the files......
