Just go to the folder's location in Finder (the folder holding the folder) and drag the folder to your favourites in the sidebar, then you'll be able to choose it as a download location all the timeSo basically, I download mods and custom content for my Sims 3 ALL the damn time. The custom content needs to be placed into a mods folder. When you download more, you have to place it in the mods folder located deep within the hard drive. (Quite an annoying place to get to if you're doing this frequently.)
Is there a way to create a shortcut folder in which any file you place into the shortcut folder automatically gets added to the file folder you're trying to reach? Kind of like a shortcut triggers a .exe file, only a folder in a more friendly place (desktop, or taskbar) that re-locates any files, or just makes a copy, and then sends it to the desired folder?
I'm on Mac OSX, but if it's possible to do on Windoze, I'll be just as happy either way. Muchas gracias ;D
Oh and hi Missy (:
