Ok, so I'm a big fan of scifi/drama/action TV. Here is what I have been watching this season:
Flash Forward - cancelled wtf
Lost - last season ugh
Heroes - cancelled, it deserved it
24 - last season ugh
Caprica - might get stupid
Shows that I have tried to see but couldn't:
V - already became stupid. America is stupid since somehow ABC thinks this has a better future than flash forward.
Fringe - really tried to watch this, but couldn't
So, what the hell there is no TV for me now! Any recommendations?

Population control
26 April 2010 - 01:04 AM
Hey guys, this is a topic I have been thinking about recently.
As recently as 1966, the world population was less than half of what the world's population is today - that is the world population has doubled in under 50 years. If this continues, by 2050 we will have a staggering 13.5 billion people (unless I messed up the math) and that assumes the population growth rate doesn't change.
The media and many politicians have been talking about sustainability a lot in recent months. Even my college this year got on the bandwagon and is working on making
the campus more "sustainable". I find these two concepts somewhat at odds. If our population continues growing at this rate, can our species ever be sustainable? Do you think our population growth will slow down? Is population control something that we should start implementing? What is a better thing for sustainability - our current programs or focusing on population control in AIDS-ridden developing countries?

Don't you think this industry is like the easiest way to make a lot of money?
You need no skills, do it piss drunk, and just some way of dealing with the mockery and shame.

You know you've been on Neopets too much when...

You have a nightmare that you got chain frozen and awake just to check your Abrosia log . Happened to me last night. I don't know what's worse - the fact that I had the nightmare or if that nightmare actually came to fruition.
So, any stories of when you have realized that you spent a bit too much time here/on Neopets

Hookah

This is my favorite vice. Smooking hookah feels so much different and better than cigarettes. cigars, and anything else I have tried. If any of you smoke and haven't tried hookah, I would recommend it highly. For a heavier smoke try apple or grape or for a smoother smoke try mint
