Simple guide on making your SS list

06 April 2012 - 06:47 AM

Hi, i just want to share this little guide of mine as I don't have anything to do right now while using Abrosia. lol. One thing I noticed around the board is that people always ask for the list of games they have to feed their score sender. I feel for these people as I was one of them. lol. everybody's asking but no one's giving.

This is to stress further that YOU should create your own list. But like what I felt a few weeks back, I don't know where to start.

This guide is more on how to research for your SLaughter Score Sender list and doing it on your own.

1. I'll assume you have your own sLaughter score sender which is avaible in this site and know how to basically manage it.

2. basically, you need a game that lets you earn 1000 np in the least amount of time possible. this is the vital part. kass basher is a no brainer. i don't know if i should post the games that i use (I currently have twenty, still researching for more), i'll think about it first. =) although i got a lot of ideas by visiting this thread. it's not updated but at least you'll have some ideas. You can also browse from other Neopets fansite such as SunnyNeo or JellyNeo as they have guides there about the games that yield high NP/time ratio. This AoB thread also has games that yield high NP/time ratio.

3. have an online stopwatch on a different tab on your browser. here's one: http://www.online-stopwatch.com
4. check the NP ratio of the game

5. multiply it by 1000. that will be your target score.

6, once on the game interface, just before starting it, hit the online stopwatch.

7. play the game. you can use the AoB cheats here in Neocodex but be careful because playing the game with AoB makes it easier thus resulting in compromised score-time ratio of the game.

8. Once you're done sending your score, pause your online stopwatch. That will be your basis on how long you played the game.

9. Play the game at least TWICE or THRICE repeating the process above. Take note of your score the time it took to have that score. This is to make sure that your score is not reviewed and is within the legit limit. Also take note of the games that have mod scores (scores that come in multiplies of 5 or 10)

10. Everybody has their own standards of how long is a long? I prefer SSing games that take 8 minutes per game. So if you find yourself still playing for more than that, i suggest you find another game.

11. create the list for your score sender. I find this online program by sLaughter himself very helpful: http://dl.dropbox.co...SSLM/index.html
again, its not updated as you all know that np/ratio changes almost every month. Input and tweak your details that you came up using the stopwatch. Copy and paste it in Notepad, then add it on your score sender.

12. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. lol.

That's it. I hope it would help some newbies like me. time to check on my Abrosia. lol.

EDIT:

after a few moments of thinking, (about 15 min, lol) i decided to post my list. you guys probably have these one right now. this is my second list, the first one is more quicker to finish but i cant remember the games' names. may be tomorow. hehe.

PLS USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! feel free to check if they're legit or not but been using this for a week now (started april 1, 2012) and seems fine so far. Remember to update and familiarize yourself with the np ratio! and i would appreciate some comments to regarding this list. state your objections. lol and i do hope no one including me gets frozen. i also decided to group my list into several differents list and run them at random time instead of sending 100+ games in one sitting. hehe. and

also, i also want your opinion if having a certain score is better that having a bracket score. i chose to use different score of which i really played and sent rather than using a bracket score. what do you think?

here are for the games of : defender trainer, cooty wars, raiders of maraqua, ultimate bullseye 2, snow wars 2, mutant graveyard of doom 2, nimmos pond, grand theft and petpet rescue.
