Abrosia randomly resetting itself

10 October 2012 - 02:38 PM

Soo... This has been happening for awhile now and I've re-installed a few times (both abrosia and program manager) trying to fix, but my Abrosia keeps randomly resetting the settings.

It keeps setting the wait delay between 0.5-1.5 seconds (wtf :() and haggle to 0.5-0.7 (super wtf), disabling AAA and setting all my other settings to default settings (NP on hand = 200,000/ Haggle % 5.2/ Profit: 5000 / Use lists provided by Neocodex / deleting my scheduler).

It's kind of really dangerous, as if I walk away or don't pay attention and Abrosia randomly decides to start buying tons of 5k profit items at 0.5 seconds with .5 refresh, I'm kinda screwed. It already compromised one of my accounts, so I've been running it on a test account to try and fix it but nothing is working D:

This is making me sad :(

&oops wrong section(?) Can someone move please D:

Flash Help Please :(?

29 August 2012 - 03:24 PM

Okay, I've read through the bajillion other topics about flash and Firefox but there doesn't seem to be any solid solution to this. All those topics either went way off topic or died

I don't play games or anything, but when customizing my pets in Firefox my preview window lags my browser to hell. Even in Quickref it's super laggy- mostly because of NC/animated items. My [FlashPlayerPlugin_11_3_300_271] is always at 50-60+ CPU when I have my closet/quickref open and it's driving me crazy. Can't scroll worth shit in my closet and the mouse lag is insane. NC mall pages lag a ton too.

I use Firefox because I run through 30 or so different proxied accounts daily, and swapping proxies with Firefox is just easier than other browsers, so changing browsers isn't really an option. Flash works fine in Chrome on my main account, so it's just Firefox that's messing with me.

And yes, I've tried (multiple times):
- Updating firefox
- Updating Flash
- Disabling/modifying the preferences for Adblock
- Disabling other plugins/add-ons
- My Firefox is very clean so it's not "bloated"
- Reverting to earlier versions of Flash
- Clearing cache
- Uninstalling/reinstalling several different versions of Flash + restarting computer
- Scanning for viruses, changing/disabling firewalls, disabling antivirus
- Tested my Shockwave, games work fine
- Video card/drivers all updated

And a few other generic fixes found online. Had this problem since day one but it's really starting to get on my nerves now that my closets have a few hundred NC items in them.
Running Windows 7, btw.

Basically want to know flat out, if anyone knows of an actual fix for this junk or should I just not bother looking any more T_T

Everyone here seems more into graphic stuff rather than painting or modelling :( But yeahh. I am bored, all I do is AB while working all day... so if anyone's bored they can watch some painty videos of me failing to paint things :funone2: And see my neocodex icons for the program manager in the vids :S

I don't know if I can do requests, I've done them before but I get sick a lot! So deadlines atm are not very uh, deadliney. Plus my stuff isn't really good enough to sell yet since I am still learning, only been doing digital painting for like 2 months tops. But I learn 10 times faster if I post my work. For 3D stuffs- I work for a game company doing lame-ish prop modeling but it's pretty low-res and we aren't allowed to post or share stuff on current projects, so any 3d I post is just "for fun" stuff. And I don't consider texturing to be fun so it's probably default texture in ugly ass grey <3

A few recent portraity things. I pick a bunch of things I suck at/hate doing to stick into every pic, like gold/metal, glass, HANDS and faces. And hair. 2nd portrait I've done:

I really really dislike gold so I painted this lol. Was the first portrait I ever painted :ohwell:

More Abrosia Proxy Questions

21 May 2012 - 04:07 PM

Hello again, a few more questions about this program... I've looked around forums and it seems most people use Abrosia without a proxy or using a free proxy, so I couldn't find many answers. Was planning to upgrade to an advanced account once I was comfortable with the program but I keep running into the same problems. I suck with programs, even though my boyfriend is a programmer..uff

Anyways. I use many different accounts, each with their own high speed proxy, and I like to keep those accounts as disconnected and clean as possible since most of them have been alive over 9-10 years and never frozen once. My first question is- how can I tell the if proxy I assigned to a username is actually working? I use the "Test Proxy Server" setting, which always says they are working fine, but I'm a bit concerned that if the proxy randomly starts refusing connections (happens very rarely, but it happens still maybe once a week for a few minutes with certain providers), does Abrosia stop/alert me/error/etc...? Or would it start running off of my real IP?

Second question, while I run Abrosia, sometimes it freezes on "Visiting shop id..(etc, etc..)" in the middle of everything, and when I try to stop, it gets stuck on "Stopping...". When this happens I have tested the proxy in use at the time, which is always working fine. I have tried restarting Abrosia, restarting the program manager, and reinstalling- I don't use premium (on those accounts at least), and the various proxies it happens on come from a variety of providers. I get no error or anything, it just freezes while visiting a shop (any shop). Any idea what causes this/how to fix it? Usually happens 2-3 times a day on different accounts/proxies.

And last question (well, group of questions) is about the proxy inputs, and kind of ties into the first question. On the login settings, where you input your user info, there is a prompt for a proxy to use in conjunction with that username. There is also a proxy input for the Web Settings in each program, which asks if you'd like to use a proxy for all page requests. Because I'm so paranoid, I usually make sure my Web Settings proxy is correct first, then I check the proxy for my user, and then I log in after tweaking the info to match each time and testing the proxy under the Web Settings tab. This really confuses me :noway: ... and it's a bit of a hassle scrolling a long list of usernames and proxies every time I switch accounts just to tweak the Web Settings (and, if I use more than just Abrosia, I have to go through whatever other programs web settings and change them to match also). So, I was wondering, which proxy does it read first? Is leaving the Web Settings blank and simply including a proxy with your username/login info enough? Do I need to keep both matching like I've been doing? I'm very paranoid about ever having any of my IPs touch a wrong account, but if it really is safe and stable to use an IP with just the login info and not the web settings, it would save me a lot of time. The only reason I have been using both, is because of the Test Proxy button, which gives me a small sense of security

Annnd my Abrosia just froze on visiting shop again :>

Sorry for the long post, but hope someone can help me  Thanks~

Abrosia and Proxy question

18 May 2012 - 05:50 PM

I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place.

I searched around a bit for an answer but didn't really find anything, so hopefully this isn't a repost.

If I'm using a Abrosa via proxy and browsing on a separate account on ANOTHER proxy, is there going to be any sort of interference?
