I'm not sure where to post this or what to title it -- so feel free to rename it and move it if need be but I happened across a pastebin link on pyro699's past status updates that listed the potential profit for each store in regards to the items it sells being in different profit margins (2,500+, 5,000+, 10,000+, etc).

I yanked it and threw it in to excel because I wanted to be able to sort it and I also started color coding them in regards to potential risk (red being risky, then orange, then yellow, then green, black/gray for unprofitable shops).

I don't know how many people around here use stuff like this but if anyone wants to help me color code or just wants the sheet for their own use I wanted to share.

Hello! I've already graced the forum a little bit and started figuring out what works for me in the ways of ABing, etc... It's quite a learning process though and I'm reading every guide (sometimes multiple times). It's a new world and it's actually a lot of fun. I was never a game player. I would try but it was really hard to keep my attention. This is probably the most interested in Neopets I've ever been. More-so, the fact that my account is around 9 years old actually has benefits! I thought that was pretty awesome.

For all of my guide reading, I'm still completely lost as to what I'm doing but oh well. It's been less then a week.

Anyways, I'm 24 (in case anyone was curious) and I'm a Web/Graphic Designer by trade who is currently working as a kind of psuedo-accountant for a few small businesses and doing all of their design work as well. I also play a lot of games on steam and so while I'm working on playing, I now have something to do behind the scenes (ambrosia, money tree grabber, auction sniper).

I made an initial "intro" post elsewhere on the forums as I overlooked this. Apologies for that, I'm apparently blind.

I'd love to make random interweb friends and would love and tips and/or help anyone is willing to offer.

I made my first neopets account a long long time ago (obviously!) and only recently have I randomly found myself lurking back on the site. Mainly because I like the whole aspect of buying and selling and then just randomly doing nothing -- but it seeming fun at the same time I guess? I work a lot and it's a really good distraction when I need to take a break. I made my first actual account when neopets first started and they had chia bingo (chia were a thing, right?) but my mother had started playing and had made a lot of NP and would shovel it my way and my sisters way because all she did was play games and didn't want it. That resulted in the true original account being frozen and I can't even remember what that account name was. I remember applying for a review and being denied but that's about it.

Anyways. I'm looking for a few pointers. I have a few random items that are apparently retired but nothing too amazing I don't think. I have just over 200,000K NP to my name and I ran the SB program and it says I have about the same amount worth in there, spread out between only a few specific items - A Snow Kookith, A Snicklebeast, A White Ona, A Purple Sticky Hand (really?) and a really old book from a long past advent calendar, "Kreludan Christmas Carols". I don't know what to do, particularly because I'm a petpet collector. I don't battle much or do much else so maybe all of you could give me some tips on things I could see about doing that might interest me -- making NP is one of them and I'm reading the guides offered on here!

This is simply a cry for help from someone who is covered in cobwebs from their neopet account!
