In Topic: Would you buy neopoints?

Didnt neocodex used to have a market forum where you could buy and sell np?

I do buy np or items if there is something I really want. People say its a waste spending real money on pixels, but people spend real time slaving away trying to get those pixels, and I make good money at my job, why not enjoy what I've got?

As for paying hundreds of dollars for a SUAP, that is ridiculous. Especially now that for a fact 100% everyone knows they are duped. At least before people didn't know that items could be duped lol.

I've gotten a super attack pea for like $30, and I think its worth it :) you just have to know the right people

In Topic: My one (tiny) complaint with Abrosia: shops clearing and checking for RS ban

31 October 2015 - 03:55 PM

You're doing the exact opposite of what you're trying to do. When you set the number of minutes to check between bans, it checks after that many minutes. Putting 5 means it checks every five minutes, and if the shops have cleared, it'll think you're banned and act accordingly. The solution I found is to put a massive number (I currently use 450) and disable AAA and Igloo (which don't work properly anyways) so that it never bothers to check for a ban, and you can just keep running it.

Oh ok, thanks for the tip

as I said in my edited original post, I found the solution to this program. I just disable checking for RS ban whenever I am babysitting the aber.

I wasn't seeing that option because I always use the manual list, and that option is greyed out unless you select to use the neocodex database instead of a manual list

But, if you click to use the database, then disable checking for restock bans, it still disables the restock ban checking even if you click back onto a manual list.

A small improvement may be to make this bubble checkable regardless of database or manual list, but it really isn't so much of an issue that it really requires checking.

Recently I have been having trouble running the aber at all! I think it is because neo is lagging so badly, but the program will run for about a minute (if I can get it to run at all,) and will stop functioning due to errors.

The weird thing is I installed the program on my backup laptop which runs linux, and the program runs perfectly in linux under WINE, whereas I can't get it to function for the life of me on windows.

Just shows how awesome neocodex is though, that their products run on linux using WINE :) I am pretty sure no other neopets cheating site has programs that will function on linux

now if I could only get the damn aber to run! I am considering just using a vpn (with a static proxy) for my main account, and just using no proxy for all my abing .

Along with the added lag from my vpn, and the neopets terrible lag, the program just won't function at all. Very sad to miss out on all those morphing potions for a whole day :( but I think neo is letting up a little in the lag and the aber is functioning again!

Pretty sure you can turn RS Ban checking off already..

Can you help me out and remind me where that option is? I can't seem to find it and that would be a big help!

The only thing I see pertaining to rs bans is check for rs ban every x minutes, but it wont accept 0 as an input, and even if you put a really small number, it will start trying to check to see if you are banned if shops clear and the same problem occurs.

This is especially unfortunate for me because when the shops are clear is when good items are more likely to appear, and I often will miss the restock because the program is checking for RS ban instead of refreshing at the cleared shop

edit: you are right, I do see the option to disable checking RS ban in empty shops! But you can only use it if you use the neocodex database, and I have been using a manual list. I am going to try and check the neocodex database box, and then check the box to stop checking RS ban in empty shops, and then go back to the manual list. Maybe that will work.

Thank you
