Does IE support HTML5? If it doesn't, that might be why... Wave uses HTML5 and a bit of gears for the image upload stuff though it should all be HTML5 once the standards Google is trying to set are standardized .

I love how Google isn't trying to take over the web, but are trying to force advance it. I assume you've read about the new SPDY protocol? I'd love to get my hands on the whitepaper for that.
