Instead of going into dubious post-mortem cryogenic stasis, spend your life insurance on an extravagant funeral and be the most genteel skeleton of us all.

It is unfortunate to see people who have been dedicatedly volunteering their time leaving due to an abusive atmosphere.
If those that remain active on the site understand that participation is dwindling, why then be offensive when this only exacerbates the problem?
Is it perhaps their desire to see the forum fade away or are they just not considering the ramifications of their words? If it a case of the former, then I am truly saddened...

Even trades people have to be licensed in most states in the US...
Indeed it would seem either very difficult or illegal for certain professions (engineering, trades, medicine, law) because they have been licensed and certified to death. Professional associations in these industries really dominate accreditation and force all to accept their standards and guidelines if they want to practice.
I haven't decided as of yet whether this is benefit or not.

What book should I read to begin? I dont know where to start.
Now that's ambition.
You could always examine the summaries of medical school courses listed on university websites and try as best as you can to replicate the course outcomes by getting the textbook or finding similar material.
Although I think you will run into some problems when it comes to practical laboratories unless of course you can obtain a job assisting at a medical school.
