Graduation

Posted by Camburger, 10 June 2015 · 598 views

I don't know what to feel really, 4 years of high school and 13 years of schooling altogether are slowly coming to an end. Not the end of my educational career, but we're gettin there. I'm looking forward to not having the same schedule everyday of the week and taking classes i hate with people i hate even more, thats what i am looking forward to most. Not having to listen to teachers bitch and moan is probably a close second, some of them want it to be over with just as bad as us.

On a side note, i still am in need of graduation gift ideas, i have no clue what to ask for.
My parents already said i won't have a car freshman year of college
I already have a laptop
I already have a nice bike

I mentioned a voice recorder but those arent a true graduation gift
An ipad maybe? but it would be hard getting to my notes and work since my laptop is windows OS.

:)

How about plane tickets? Do some traveling this summer.

@DonValentino currently have plans to leave next wednesday for Indiana for family :)

Not a lot of traveling but my summer is pretty busy, going there for 2 weeks then fly back with my family and they will be here for 3 weeks.

What about going somewhere you haven't gone before, by yourself or maybe with a friend?

Maybe a video game would be nice? If you have a system for it.

Also, congrats on graduating! I'm actually graduating tomorrow, from high school, like you. I'm traveling to NY and DC with my grandma for most of June.

@Satsuki The only games im REALLY looking forward to this year (and that havent been released yet) are Black Ops 3 and Star wars Battlefront.  Im also really skeptical about bringing my xbox one to the dorms for awhile so i can feel it out first.

Congrats on graduating to you as well!

Congratulations. People like to make jokes that all you need to graduate is a pulse, but if that were true everyone would do it. Graduating shows you can put up with a LOT of crap, during the most stressful time of your life (honestly, it is). So, for actually getting through that, congratulations. :)

When I graduated my parents offered me either a bus/train ticket anywhere in the continental US, or a nice set of luggage. I took the luggage and hopped a plane to California. It was ridiculous, but it turned out to be a great idea. Perhaps ask for a short vacation somewhere. Just to see what else there is out there. If they'll bite, tell them you want to investigate some college somewhere, see the town. Don't scoff at a bus ticket, you meet really weird people and when you're going by road instead of plane. :) Things are things, but I recommend experiences.

@FelisNoctua I've always wanted to go to New York, it always seemed fun to me for some reason.  Other than that i cant think of anywhere i'd like to go.  Colorado or Washington maybe :p
