Hello everyone!

Time to bring a few things to your attention! Firstly, for those who are heading back to school, good luck this school year from the staff and administration! As for the news:

Junior Programmer applications are now back!
Applications had to be shut down momentarily because of the issue with the lack of people reviewing these applications, but now some adjustments have been made regarding who is reviewing these applications and hopefully the process can be increased in speed a bit more this time:

Advertising Team Makes a Return
Commissioned a while back but then closed temporarily, the advertising team looks like it's going to be making a return. The Advertising Team (considered one of the Official Teams of Neocodex, just like the News Team and the Contest Team) is a purely voluntary rank that you can achieve simply by applying for it. If you want to do something to help the site out, this is an ideal opportunity for you. (you do get a special rank icon )

The duties of a member of the Advertising Team is simply to help promote Neocodex in a positive way to others who may be seeking the services we offer. We expect the members of the advertising team to act as representitives of the site when letting others know about us, and using methods of nuisance and other forbidden methods will risk punishments (most likely removal from the team).

Neocodex Services
Over the next month or so, the thing I want to personally take a look at is the services we offer and see if we can do better, or to see what we can add to the site in terms of services to offer to you. If you have any ideas on what we could possibly add to the site to make it a better place, just PM any member of staff and they can have it posted in the correct area for discussion. We're open to ideas.

Shouldn't be that long (about a week or so, probably sooner) as I got the Full Programmers discussing them in the meantime.

It's still there. The old applications have been deleted, but you can still post an application.

Oh I'd love to apply but I'd suck, reading the application form I really wouldn't know what sort of site to advertise at or how, I'll just wait for another opportunity to become more a part of the community .

Oh, don't think like that. You can't know if someone deserves the rank more than you, because you simply haven't read the applications and don't know what people have written in their applications. Give it a shot!
