Random question: If someone is weight lifting but has excess body fat on them, do they still need to eat an excess of calories (assuming enough protein and general nutrients are being consumed)?

Boggart depends how much excess.. if you are obese then no. If you are just not super thin, then get at least 1g protein/lb of body weight
