It's possible that the icon you clicked is just a link to your disk drive, and it will attempt to play whatever is in there. Is the disk actually in there?

Have you ever played Impossible creatures? i like it better then spore. But spore was still a good game.

Neoquest nailed it. It use to be glorius, unfortunately they had to chop some of it out. I think it got too big, or they wanted to maximize expansion packs. I could see them doing that then it flopping because it was a crappy starting game, and let people down.
