Sounds like you're throwing good money after bad. :/ You'll very rarely come out even when putting money into a car, I suspect you're fighting a losing battle there.

Apparently I have go get a series of shots, and if nothing gets better then they'll operate. I'm willing to try the shots because I've tried just about everything, but I just want to get this shit figured out. How'd you do all of that at the smithsonian...? We're you jumping off roofs and stuff again?

Well, they think I've had the stress fractures in my 1st metatarsal for over a month and a half. When new shit hurts, I tend to ignore it because I usually just assume it's my Ehlers-Danlos being a bitch. So, I changed how I was walking when the inner side of my foot started hurting. And because I changed how I walked, I damaged the outside of my foot and walking for 7 hours+ at the Smithsonian and around DC was just the straw that broke the camel's.. foot.. thing.
