You're right, it is rational. I'm sick of paying a ton of money for my car. Id like to sell it and just ride my bike to work which is a mile away.

Sounds like you're throwing good money after bad. :/ You'll very rarely come out even when putting money into a car, I suspect you're fighting a losing battle there.
