Yikes. In contrast to Rocket's info, my physiotherapist told me to stick to ice for the first 2-3 days then use heat after that until it feels better. Lots of rest and don't massage it just yet, you might aggravate the injury. Take care and hope it gets well soon! sauce: injured back muscle before.
