Sorry, busy lucrative day left me with little PC time. 0.2-0.3 for OCR and Haggle.
@wikkles I find that Valorsuite gets me a restock ban HELLA FAST lately, so I don't bother using it except for doing my dailies for me.

The first chapter in a document, do you generally call that a preface or an introduction in English?

Introduction for sure. A preface tells why you're writing, an introduction tells what you're writing.
Also, a prologue outlines a narrative that is necessary to a story before the main story begins.

Exactly @Cass. A preface gives reasoning, a prologue gives backstory, and an intro gives a chance for the reader to learn a bit about what they're reading before they get to it.

also, you could go ahead and say that 1x1-1 is half of 2x2-2, which also equals zero. Having said that, in the US, "half of" generally insinuates parenthesis for the following equation, whatever that may be. So you could argue that either 1 or 0 is correct, but that the question is in fact wrong.
