Luckily in the start of the summer season I intentionally over staff every kitchen so I can get everyone retrained on our new menu so mostly it's just me barking orders haha.

Yikes. I am sorry to hear that. I hope you have a good support network, and aren't shy of utilizing everyone around you. Do you mind sharing what your friend ODed on? There is a doc in my town who just got busted for being a partner in an opiate drug ring, and some of his patients died of OD and now lots of people are committing suicide because they can't get their fix. =/
