My friends baby was born today but another friend died of a drug overdose... :| Mixed emotions to say the very least

Yikes. I am sorry to hear that. I hope you have a good support network, and aren't shy of utilizing everyone around you. Do you mind sharing what your friend ODed on? There is a doc in my town who just got busted for being a partner in an opiate drug ring, and some of his patients died of OD and now lots of people are committing suicide because they can't get their fix. =/

@Kaddict waiting for autopsy. Lots of fentanyl in people's drugs here as of late. He was into meth and heroin predominately

Dang. That is scary stuff. I hate to see people in their prime lose their life to drugs like that. Stay strong!
