Is diablo 3 really that bad compared to diablo 2? I'm possibly going to go pick it up tomorrow.

I got maybe 200 hours of gameplay out of it, which for $60 is decent. The item hunt just isn't as satisfying as D2 though, and the game makes co-op play less efficient than solo play. It just got boring towards the end.

Just pick up the game and utilize the AH. Either way you'll break even or profit when you stop (if you do).
