Just pick it up and act cool about it. I've done it a few times. Or you could pretend to talk to the phone going "ok which one you want? blahblahblah" :P

LOL. This reminds me. Me & my boyfriend were in Wal-Mart the other day, looking at the game section. And I muttered, "No neopets cards?" And he started talking loudly about it so I started shushing him. So then he yelled very loudly, "WHAT? YOU DON'T WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW YOU PLAY NEOPETS?" I promptly left the electronics section. XD
